Jewelcrafting
I’ll be honest with you, powerleveling your Jewelcrafting will be very expensive. One way to offset this is to take Mining as your Secondary profession, sometimes finding gems from your mining activities, but mainly relying on your prospecting skills to get the most out of the ores. You can also take up Enchanting to complement your Jewelcrafting, disenchanting the items you make and selling the extracted Dusts, Essences and Shards in the Auction House.
Jewelcrafting bonuses are extremely useful though, especially if you’re a serious raider. If you find yourself low on gold, I recommend you take a look at this Gold Guide. It definitely helped me with my gold problems and I’m sure it will help you too.

At this point, any items you make can be resold at the AH, so don’t waste your time farming the mats, just check your AH for the cheapest possible options and level up there and then.
