Searing Gorge

4. While circling the zone, kill:

• 20 Heavy War Golems (and loot 4 Golem Oils)
• 15 Dark Iron Taskmasters
• 15 Dark Iron Slavers
• 20 Greater Lava Spiders
• Blazing Elementals and Magma Elementals – loot 4 Hearts of Flame

5. Go to the Outhouse at the Grimslit Dig Site (65,62)

• Right Click it and accept “Caught!”
• Kill 8 Dark Iron Geologists – loot 15 Silk Cloths
• Turn in “Caught!”

6. Go inside the Cauldron and west to the Iron Slope at (46,53)

• Continue to the Slag Pit at (41,54) and cross the bridge to the Quarry Gate
• Find the Enslaved Archaeologists in the bigger room beyond the gate
• Continue past Maltorius and to a bridge where you can jump down and see the Incendosaurs – kill 20 of them.
• Leave the Caulder by traveling to the west to (46,53) and taking the elevator at (40,54) to the third floor

7. Go to the Watchtowers and kill Dark Iron Lookouts until you loot a Lookout Spyglass

8. Return to Thorium Point and talk to Karalan Windblade, Hansel Heavyhands, Taskmaster Scrange near (38,27)

• Turn in “The Flawless Flame” and accept “Forging the Shaft”
• Turn in: “Incendosaurs? Whateverosaur is More Like It”
• “Curse these Fat Fingers”
• “Fiery Menace!”
• “Culling the Competition”
• “Smithing Tuyere and Lookout’s Spyglass”

9. Leave Thorium Point and kill Dark Iron Geologists – loot 8 Thorium Plated Daggers (64,61)

10. Talk to Kalaran Windblade (39,38)

• Turn in “Forging the Shaft” and accept “The Flame’s Casing”

11. Go to Fire Watch Ridge and loot Symbol of Ragnaros from a guard

12. Return to Kalaran Windblade and Squire Maltrake (39,38)

• Turn in “The Flame’s Casing” and accept “The Torch of Retribution” 1
• Turn in “The Torch of Retribution” 1 and accept part 2
• Click on glowing green stick and then turn in “The Torch of Retribution” 2
• Accept “Squire Maltrake”
• Turn in “Squire Maltrake” and accept “Set Them Ablaze!”

13. Complete the following for all four towers at (33,52), (35,59), (43,63), and (52,57)

• Clear mobs outside the tower and find the “Sentry Brazier” on the tower and light it

14. Talk to Squire Maltrake (38,39)

• Turn in “Set Them Ablaze!”
• Click on the chest after Kalaran flies away and accept “Trinkets”
• Turn in “Trinkets” and you will have been given a box labeled “Hoard of the Black Dragonflight”. Save the molt for later.

You should be well into Level 51 at this point regardless of how many mobs you had to kill. If for some reason you are not though, continue anyways and catch up in the next zone.

Orgrimmar

1. Return to Orgrimmar and talk to the Innkeeper

• Accept “Assisting Arch Druid Runetotem”

2. Talk to Jes’rimon (55,34)

• Accept “Bone-Bladed Weapons”

5. In the Marshlands, find the Purple Ravasaur Eggs at (67,73)

• Stand on the Egg Pile to bring out Lar’Korwi’s mate – kill it and loot the Pheremone Gland. Repeat until you have 2 Pheremone Glands.

6. Return to Torwa Pathfinder (71,76)

• Turn in “The Scent of Lar’Korwi”

7. Kill Ravasaurs and loot 8 White Ravasaur Claws (67,73)

• Loot a Mangled Journal and accept “Williden’s Journal” (optional)

14. Find the Expedition Camp and loot the “Research Equipment” there (38,66)

15. Swim through the lake and find Krakle on the other side at (30,50)

9. Click the Altar at (59,31)

• Right click one of the three floating crystals that appears to destroy it and then kill the stone structure
• Kill the Defender and then Magus Rimtori who will have spawned – loot her head

10. Talk to Kim’Jael (53,21)

• Turn in “Kim’Jael Indeed” and accept “Missing Equipment”

11. Travel SW to the Ruins of Eldarath and look for the tablets listed for Stealing Knowledge (41,48)

• Kill Nagas and loot “Some Rune” from one of them.
• The slope to leave the Strand is at (46,39)

You should now be Level 55. If you are not yet level 55, grind for a little while so that you can catch up and hit the mark where you are supposed to be. Do not fall behind here as the next few levels will be quite hard if you are behind by even one level!
