Introduction: Starting Areas – Human
Throughout the early levels in Elwynn Forest, you should stop at Level 5, 7, 10, and 12 and purchase any skills you need. Additionally, repair your gear as often as possible, preferably every time you return to town. Even if it doesn’t seem like you will need to, it can be a big help if you face a long dungeon or tough foe and lose your sword. At this level, you won’t have any spares lying around. Finally, make sure every time you return to town you have enough food and water to keep you alive (except for Mages) until you return. Two stacks should be sufficient.
Elwynn Forest
1. At Northshire, talk to Deputy Willem, Marshal McBride, and Eagn Peltskinner (48,43)
· Accept “A Threat Within”
· Turn in “A Threat Within” and accept “Kobold Camp Cleanup”
· Accept “Wolves Across the Border”
· You will also get your first class quest here, a letter you must take to your trainer. If you are a Warlock, also get your first pet here before continuing.
· Kill Wolves and loot 8 Tough Wolf Meat
· Kill 10 Kobold Vermin
· Turn in “Wolves Across the Border”
· Turn in “Kobold Camp Cleanup” and accept “Investigate Echo Ridge”
· Accept “Brotherhood of Thieves”
2. Kill 10 Kobold Workers (52,40)
3. Kill Defias mobs and loot 12 Red Burlap Bandanas (54,40)
4. Talk to Deputy Willem and Marshal McBride (48,43)
· Turn in “Brotherhood of Thieves” and accept “Milly Osworth”
· Accept “Bounty on Garrick Padfoot”
· Turn in “Investigate Echo Ridge” and accept “Skirmish at Echo Ridge”
5. Talk to Milly Osworth (51,39)
· Turn in “Milly Osworth” and accept “Milly’s Harvest”
· Gather 9 Milly’s Harvest Barrels (54,48)
· Kill Garrick Padfoot and loot his head (57,48)
· Turn in Milly’s Harvest and accept “Grape Manifest”
6. Talk to Deputy Willem (48,43)
· Turn in “Bounty on Garrick Padfoot”
7. Talk to Brother Neals at the top of the church spire (49,42)
· Turn in “Grape Manifest”
8. At the Echo Ridge Mine, kill 12 Kobold Laborers (48,32)
9. Talk to Marshal McBride (49,42)
· Turn in “Skirmish at Echo Ridge” and accept “Report to Goldshire”
10. Talk to Falkhaan Isenstrider (46,48)
· Accept “Rest and Relaxation”
