Points: 10 ![]()
Factions: Alliance, Horde
Recommended Level: 18 – 30
Note: In Duskwood, you really need to be careful if you are a Horde player. You’ll come in from the south and will need to be especially careful in Raven Hill and Darkshire where most of the Alliance NPCs are located. For all players, make sure to visit the center of the Twilight Grove and to go right inside the pit at the Vul’Gol Ogre Mound to get credit for that exploration point.
Guide To Exploring Duskwood
The zone of Duskwood is an extremely large zone but relatively easy to explore because of how it is set up. To explore Duskwood, you will simply do a wide loop around the entire zone, sticking close to the mountains on the south and east sides. Horde players will need to be careful coming in from Stranglethorn Vale however due to the number of Alliance camps here.
To get started, visit the Vul’Gol Ogre Mound (35,72) and the Yorgen Farmstead (49,73) located in the southern reaches of the zone. From here, go west to Addle’s Stead (21,68), and then north to Raven Hill (20,55) and the Hushed Bank (9,49). Finally, to complete the west side of the map, visit the Raven Hill Cemetery (20,42).
From the cemetery, travel east and go inside the Twilight Grove (47,44). You’ll need to enter the grove from a pass located at (47,55). After exploring here, go to the Rotting Orchard (63,72) and then the Tranquil Gardens Cemetery (76,63). Travel north from here until you reach Darkshire (74,46) and then up to Manor Mistmantle (77,35). The last two points you’ll need to explore are Brightwood Grove (64,37) and the Darkened Bank (53,12).
Duskwood is a relatively large zone, so expect it to take between 20 and 45 minutes to explore fully, especially if you are a Horde player. If you are one, the Explore Duskwood achievement will require a bit of careful planning and probably a group of fellow players so that you can take on any NPCs or Alliance players you run into!
